Throwback Thursdays #TBT: Prada’s Fall Winter 2000 Runway

There’s nothing better to me than hiking my heels up after a long day, and watching The Devil Wears Prada. Not only is Meryl Streep my spirit animal, but the simple title symbolizes power. and Prada.

While I had always wondered why they had chosen PRADA to be the emblematic sign of fashion for the movie, I soon realized that I couldn’t think of a single line that has withstood so much of the fashion time. In a time where fashion seems to jump ahead years at a time, Prada always presents a timelessness that never goes out of style. And for a fashion girl like me, I can dig it.

Though not my normal type of post, I had to take a stroll down memory lane and check out Prada’s previous collection. Today, we’re looking at their 2000/01 line, clad in tweed, black, and all-French flare.

Are you diggin’ the direction Prada’s gone in, or was old school the best?
