Some of you who have followed me for a while know I used to do outfit recaps for celebrity award
shows at my work with FashionBombDaily. Though I am no longer there, I figured I’d put my research skills to good use and tackle some of my favorite outfits from the 2016 Critic’s Choice Awards this year held in LA.
Let’s take a look, shall we?
It’s still hard to believe Kerry Washington had a baby not too long ago. For the night, she wore an Elie Saab Spring 2017 black dress with a sheer top overlay. Per her usual Kerry nature, she rocked neutral makeup and soft curly hair. Adorable!
Tracee Ellis Ross came ready to make a statement, and that she did! She wore a Zuhair Murad Resort 2017 dress, and finished of her look with gold sequined Louboutins and a matching gold clutch.
My spirit animal and one of my favorite actresses Viola Davis graced the blue carpet in a blue Michael Kors dress, accenting with silver accessories. The dress paired with hair and makeup is giving me a winning combination!
Jessica Biel had one of my favorite looks of the night, working a green and black Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2017 dress.I’m loving everything about the look– bohemian chic, no?
Nicole Kidman gave an interesting black ensemble in none other than Brandon Maxwell!
