Hey Misfits! So two Thursdays ago, many of you know, I was honored at HEIR PR’s Inaugural ‘Heir’ program for my work with Theblondemisfit and the written word!
Honorees, guests and media flocked to We Work in Dumbo, BK, where tasty finger foods and snacks were served. Mingling happened (of course) and needless to say, you immediately learned there were a ton of powerful people in the room.
I have to admit…I’m such a goofy, laid back girl, things like this always make me nervous! It’s not that I don’t believe I belong in these places, but I just do Theblondemisfit to inspire other people. I never actually think about what it’s doing, what I’m doing, or how I’m helping shape lives (if that makes sense).
I’m so honored (no pun intended) that I’m doing something impactful for each one of you, inspiring someone out there to be unapologetically themselves. When I moved to New York, I never thought about how it’d get done. I just knew it would. 
OH! Many of you hit my DMs on the deets of my dress. Someone even said, “GIRL, I KNOW YOU SPENT A TON ON THAT DRESS!“. As an avid thrifter who LOVES to score great vintage deals, I am very proud to say I paid $6 for this dress after taxes. However, I can’t tell you how I did it or where I got it. Can’t give away all my secrets 😉
