It feels like Paris fashion week has been going on for twelve years (is it just me? Oh, okay), but we’re still getting these looks! Well, if you remember when I was chronicling NYFW, we didn’t see Cardi B, and that’s because she was on tour.
However, she and her stylist Kollin Carter are out in Paris and she turned some heads while wearing this floral number from Richard Quinn. Check out the video below:
For some context, the look comes straight off Quinn’s Fall/Winter 29 collection where this floral pattern was seen on a couple of fits. Not sure what the temperature is over in France, but I do know that sometimes you just have to suck it up and turn up that heat!
The shoulders are very structured, and the waist is synched in with a matching waist belt over top the oversize coat. Underneath is a pleated skirting and long, probably full-length shoes.
I tweeted the video when I first saw this look and I had no idea that the masses were going to respond as such, haha. Last time I looked, the video was seen over 200,000 times so I just excited out because I got dizzy.
Nonetheless, I think that this is definitely a statement maker, and at the end of the day, isn’t that what fashion is supposed to be about, anyways? Also this is a potential outfit for those looking for more modernity-inspired fits while still being high-end and fashionable. Can’t wait to see what Cardi comes up with next!
