The Christian Siriano show kicked off NYFW in style. As you watched the models, you couldn’t help but imagine an Old Glam kind of beauty. For the makeup, the brand tapped none other than Charlotte Tilbury to develop the beauty look for this season.
Sofia Tilbury, Brand Ambassador and Product & Content Creator, designed the look and keyed the show, sowing the brand’s latest complexion innovation, Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer, to achieve brighter and more lifted skin on the runway.
“It’s always such a joy to work with Christian! This season his inspiration for Spring/Summer 2023 was Elizabeth Taylor and old Hollywood, so we instantly knew we wanted to create a classic 1950s bombshell look to complement the beautiful pieces and timeless elegance of The Elizabeth Collective,” Tilbury told TheBlondeMisfit. “We started by using Hollywood Flawless Filter and Charlotte’s NEW! Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer to create a fresh but perfected looking complexion that allowed the bright red lip to take center stage.”

You may be wondering what makes this concealer so special. “This concealer is super hydrating with incredible stretch and blends seamlessly for a second skin effect, so we only applied it to areas needing extra coverage; spot concealing, correcting the look of pigmentation, brightening dark circles, and creating a lift-effect while still allowing the natural skin to shine through,” Tilbury said.
How to Achieve the Look
“We used the Hollywood Contour Wand to enhance the models’ bone structure, gliding high across the cheekbones and blending upwards to really lift the look of the face, then finished with Charlotte’s Beauty Light Wand over the high points to create a dewy, candlelit highlight,” she explained. “The bright red lip was super key for this look. We chose a combination of Tell Laura Lipstick and Kiss n Tell Lip Cheat for a vibrant pop of confident color, perfect with a slightly overdrawn Cupid’s bow and a touch of Collagen Lip Bath Gloss at the fullest points of the lips for 3-Dimensional, mirror-shine fullness.”
For $30 dollars plus, the concealer is a bit on the higher end. But if you’re like me and often wear concealer on its own, this is worth every touch up and penny.
