Y’all know that Gabrielle Union is a woman about her money! She recently launched a new holiday collection with NY & Company, and it’s filled with the holiday festivities with reds, silvers, and all the delights. For this collection, Gabrielle brought the whole squad along: Raven Goodwin, Ajiona Alexus, Essence Atkins, and Valarie Pettiford. Together Gabrielle and her friends are continuing her #AllTogetherNow message.
I spotted this silver jacquard suit that I’m grabbing, all the statement reds (btw, so happy to see a curvy girl and multiple skin tones here), jumpsuits and cozy sweaters and pants. I even liked this off-the-shoulder vibe she had going on and this red icon sweater, I was like OKAY GABBIE. I’m a girl who also loves a good sequin, and this collection is FILLED with them: A black sequin skirt, rainbow sequin skirt, sequin jumpsuit and sequin palazzos are just a few of the things. My favorite thing in this whole collection is this sequin skirt that I would wear with EVA-RE-THING.
I was a fan of the first collection she had, mostly because I’m someone who likes to have options that can easily go party girl OR business casual. You know, same ole’ same. Many pieces could be worn to work, to school, and then out for drinks with the girls or a romantic night with bae. So this NEW collection? I was shook.
Lastly, who wants great style while sitting in an empty room with the lights cut off? Uh, nobody. Everything from the line seems to clock in under $100, except for the sequin jumpsuit, sequin palazzo pant (which I would get anyways) and black hi-lo jacket. Also, the sizing is pretty legit with 00 – 20 and some plus size pieces ranging from 1X – 3X. I can support an inclusive line that’s also focused on keeping my money and my wallet happy.
