So NYFW has begun! However, Gabrielle Union’s been working on her own runways and fashion collections apart from the designers you may see. On September 6th, the ‘Being Mary Jane’ star attended the launch event for her new clothing line, Gabrielle Union Collection with New York & Company.
She wore a bodacious canary-yellow dress as she chatted it up with supporters young and old, posing for the photos and of course, giving us some SERIOUS hair goals #af.
Say what you want, but homegirl is WERKINGGGGG, and honestly, it’s refreshing to see that she’s working for a legacy that’ll extend the acting and entertainment scene. With a fashion line under her belt, Union is adding her name and voices to the countless black designers and fashionistas out there that constantly help shape culture, whether others want to acknowledge or attribute to us or nah.
