All the fun went down Wednesday Night in NYC Jay Manuel released his newest beauty launch over at Highline Stages.
According to WWD, Iman and Manuel are bringing the luxury line to brick and mortar stores, linking with Simon on a series of “permanent retail concepts…that will be stationed within busy common areas inside Simon shopping centers.”
Of course, this is no small feat for the beauty brand, who will make their inaugural appearance in brick-and-mortar retail. Iman told WWD, “A lot of department stores are suffering when it comes to foot traffic because there is no foot traffic. Bloomingdale’s [in the Eighties] would do like a whole concept about India and they’d cover the whole store, and customers would go in to experience the transformation. That’s what’s missing [in brick-and-mortar] retail — the experience. That experience is what people used to go to department stores for, especially when it comes to beauty because beauty is an emotional purchase.”
Of course, you CAN’T host a star-grazing beauty launch without having some stars in the house! Of course mother Iman (who just refuses to age) came out, posing with actress Alfre Woodard who sported this GORGEOUS orange frock.
Like, I would wear this in a second (so Ms. Woodard, if you’re reading, you can swing that my way).
The fabulous Miss Jay Alexander popped through, face snatched and ensembled in a black and white outfit.

There’s something so artsy and bohemian about Porche Cooper’s look I can’t get over.I do know that I will take everything she’s wearing, and gladly let her bless my face with a good beat.
And of course, the man of the hour posed alongside Iman, looking dapper as ever. I mean, I know we’re into beauty, but can someone age just a little bit?
