La La Anthony has her hands in a little bit of everything. She’s an actress, a #1 New York Times best-selling author, a fashion mogul, and a philanthropist. Now, she’s adding another title under her belt with the launching a new collection in partnership with Ashley Stewart. Whew!
The curve-friendly collection, curated by La La, consists of dresses/jumpsuits, tops, bottoms (including denim), activewear sets, and outerwear beginning at $22 up. Originally, her denim line was only available in sizes 0-14, which barely makes for a cheer from the curvy girls. But now, La La is expanding the line and her reach, ensuring that there is more to the sizing options that are available.
The capsule retails from $78 to $120 and is available online and in 20 Ashley Stewart stores in New York, California, Georgia and Illinois. Ashley Stewart’s 89 stores primarily serve plus-size women within urban communities across the U.S. With plus-size clothing still so scarce (and limited when it comes to cute things), it’s nice to see the market being tapped more into by celebrities and influencers.
