What do you guys think of the Tadashi Shoji show? First, I will admit that I can appreciate a shorter runway that isn’t pressed with pushing out a TON of clothes. In a time of sustainability, I’m happy to know some designers are focused on lessening their carbon footprint, whether intentionally or not. I think it’s an important stance to make.
For some context, Tadashi Shoji is a Japanese fashion designer who is known for his evening wear and bridal collection. The brand has greatly expanded over the years and is featured in over 700 major department and speciality stores worldwide. WOW.
According to WWD, Shoji was inspired by a book he had read about the Mongolian empire between the 13th and 15th century.
