So guys, February 2016 has by far been the busiest time of my entire life. On the eve of the New Year, I fasted and prayed that God would let all the blessings that had been held out on me pour out…and man..when they say be careful what you wish for…Since the first, I have done something and not had a moment to myself. While I’ve had amazing adventures such as celebrating my birthday (go Jordan Year!) or attending NYFW, I have NOT been paying attention to updating TBM.
Since the first of February, I have been on 100 every second and not had a moment to myself. While I’ve had amazing adventures such as celebrating my birthday (go Jordan Year!) or attending NYFW, I have NOT been paying attention to updating TBM. 
I want this to be a platform where you get to see all the things going on in my life, considering I currently write full-time for a magazine publication, write full-time for an online style magazine, conduct show reviews and fashion news, and then freelance for another. Not to mention I’m working tirelessly on building my name in the world of fashion, politics and media. People think I’m joking, but I’m trying to be the next Oprah and on Forbe’s 30 under 30 people! 
Lately, many of you have begun catching on to the things I’m doing in the industry, cultivating relationships with people and my mentor, Claire Sulmers. It’s been a lot of hard work and long hours, but I think every day how I was working in a restaurant WANTING these things, so complaining is not even a possibility. Plus, it’s slowly been coming under control as I learn how to manage a social life, personal and work (although I fail at this balance on many days). 
People have been showing their love on all facets of social media, and you guys keep me encouraged! Knowing that I inspire SOMEONE out there to pursue their dreams is really my purpose on this Earth. As I learn how to continue building myself as a Business-woman, I learn through the mistakes that I make. Returning phone calls, emails, text messages…these are all things I’ve been neglecting but CAN NOT continue to do, because I don’t want people to think for a single minute that I am ‘above’ any of this. You make time for what you want to make time for, and I refuse to get too busy to stay a regular person. Cuz I’m always gonnaaaaa be Mae, haha.
The parties, celebrity sightings, and work have all been fun, but I want you guys to come along with me and enjoy it by my side. So please be patient with me, because things are just getting started!
