A few months back, I realized that neon green was poppin’ up, EVERYWHERE. I’ve never been someone who really was into bright, highlight colors for my clothes (especially with me having bright, blonde hair), but I said I would give it a try because I liked the edginess of it and the nostalgic feels of the ’90s.
So for my birthday back in February, I decided to go for a monochromatic neon vibe and step out of my comfort zone. I picked up a neon dress from ASOS and then paired it with matching neon open-toed sandals from Missguided (I can’t find the exact ones I had, but these are lit, too). Let me tell you, this duo came in handy throughout my trip, as I was able to throw pants over the dress and get multiple uses out of it. And a lot of people enjoyed the look, mostly because I think bright colors are so indicative of spring…and they just look good on our skin tones.
IF you don’t know how to wear neon (like how I felt for the longest), here’s a bit of inspiration you can put into place for those summer and spring outfits (and keep scrolling down for a few pieces you can pick up if you need a helping hand to start):
