For those of you that don’t know, August is officially National Black Business Month! We are here to celebrate the beautiful BIPOC community. As a whole, we’ve accomplished so much throughout the last few decades. The fact that there has been a continuous incline in our collective interest in striving for financial independence just proves that ambitious, courageous, and tenacious blood still courses through our veins.
Black-owned businesses in the United States account for about 10 percent of U.S. businesses and about 30 percent of all minority-owned businesses. As of 2021, there are approximately two million companies owned by African Americans. This month we celebrate those that are changing the beauty game one Instagram post at a time!
