Gypsy Sport Gave Us So Much Hair Inspiration For The Fall

One of my favorite shows to see every season is Gypsy Sport.

Gypsy Sport is a brand that not only feels like it belongs to outsiders, but it includes one of the most diverse and compelling runways each and every season. This season, there was no one style that the beauty teams stuck to, instead choosing to focus on bringing an individual perspective to each and every model.

“There’s so many characters,” Laurent Philippon, Bumble and bumble Global Fashion director and hair lead, told TheBlondeMisfit. “There’s rarely a ‘main idea’ or ‘inspiration’ for the show – and that’s an amazing freedom that we have nowhere else. We even talked to the model and asked them about their vision and idea of themselves; sometimes they’re open to anything and sometimes they know exactly what they want. Rio was the first one to celebrate diversity – now everyone is doing it.”

For hair, the Bumble and Bumble team used a plethora of products to achieve the look. How can you recreate it? Try Bb.Curl Anti-Humidity Gel-Oil to set finger waves. To build structured hair looks, opt for Spray de Mode, setting each look with Strong Finish.

The person Laurent is referencing is none other than Rio Uribe, the designer and mastermind behind the everyday wear. We saw a bit of everything down the runway: see-through tank tops, lacy bralettes, and super-cool slinky dresses.

For the night, Corey Wash stole the show while strutting in a pair of platforms and her pregnant belly on full display. Yes, she looked like a total badass.
