If you’ve listened to me preach before, you know that a good piece of outerwear is a necessity in any wardrobe. I truly believe that a good coat can elevate your outfit, no matter what you have on. I also believe if your outfit is blah, a good coat instantly just makes you look more put together. Amirite?
Now, I don’t know when this happened but over the past few years, I’ve been attracted to pink. As many of you know, yellow was the go-to color for TheBlondeMisfit, but I also love this Fuschia/magenta pink situation. Nowadays, I search for anything with color because I love having a pop of color in any outfit that requires branding. So when I stumbled on this pink fur coat from Staud, I fell in love.
For one, who doesn’t love a good faux-fur teddy coat? And with a bright pink like this, there’s no denying that it’s fabulous. Secondly, I love this patent leather black trim throughout the coat which makes it more punk and grunge and not just a ton of pink vomit.
I think this coat represents who I am. It’s pretty and colorful but also badass. And honestly, that’s what everyone should search for when upgrading their wardrobe. I also think pink is just a universal color that works with anyone and any skin tone. Can pink become neutral? I believe so.
OK, I’m rambling. But two things you should know: 1) A pink coat looks amazing, and 2) Everyone needs one.
