Did y’all miss me? After a few weeks of hiatus, I’m back and feeling more confident to write and create content in the midst of all that is going on. As many of you know, I started a new job at the beginning of April and juggling new responsibilities on top of, IDK, coronavirus outbreaks everywhere in New York, just required me to take a step back and focus.
Thankfully, I realized that it’s okay to not have it all together, and I’m returning back to myself although I don’t plan to go do too much. We’re going to do a slow and easy transition back in, haha.
Anywho, we’ve got a new podcast episode this week, talking about how to stop doubting yourself and how to walk in the fullness of what God has for you! So often, we create content and make moves to get the approval of other people, people who, quite frankly, don’t matter.
Instead of wondering how another person will (or won’t) respond to your work, challenge yourself to create first, ask questions later. And even in that, those questions are for you and not for who you think you need approval from. In the podcast episode, I definitely use a few choice words to describe my sentiment, but it’s true!
Even if our plans are delayed, we’re not living on other people’s terms in 2020. Period.
