If you didn’t hear, Queen Pat McGrath has come out with a new foundation. Y’all know that Pat McGrath gives us product KWALITYYY, and it has easily become the buzz foundation of the summer. According to Sephora, the foundation is “a long-wearing, customizable foundation that builds from sheer to medium coverage in a wide range of universal hues that manifest the ultimate sublime skin standard.” In case you needed a reference of what the shades look like, here’s a graphic from Sephora’s site:
The foundation is a medium coverage, though I noticed that it was buildable based on the brush or applicator you use. I’m not sure you’ll get a full coverage out of this, but it is extremely hydrating to the touch. To give it an additional touch, the product has more ingredients that help your skin from the inside out. “A Vita-Serum Complex moisturizes and helps fight the appearance of wrinkles, while Diamond Core Powder Technology enhances skin’s texture, and helps smooth and blur the appearance of fine lines, pores, and imperfections. The silky, weightless formulation imparts a filtered, soft-focus luminosity.
Now, this baby does cost a stressful $68, but I personally feel like if there’s one thing you should invest in for makeup, it should be your foundation. This foundation is great. It can be used for disguise. Although it’s expensive it’s worth it.
