Grab your favorite drink and get comfy because we need to talk. You know how they say change is the only constant? Well, I want to update you all on TheBlondeMisfit and the journey we’re about to embark on. It’s an exciting new chapter, and I want you all to be part of it!
First off, let me say a massive THANK YOU. Your support, comments, and endless enthusiasm have made this blog what it is today. I can’t believe we’ve been moving and grooving for almost a decade. We’ve laughed together, shared style tips, and bonded over beauty hacks. But as I’ve grown, so have my passions and experiences, and it’s time for TheBlondeMisfit to reflect that growth.
How is TheBlondeMisfit changing?
Don’t worry, we’re not saying goodbye to fashion and beauty entirely. They’ll always be part of our DNA (I mean, have you seen my closet? Do you know how I can’t stop shopping at Sephora — even my recent $500 trip that was a complete accident). But TheBlondeMisfit is expanding its horizons, much like I have over the past year.
Moving forward, this space will be your all-access pass to my world, where you can keep up with what I’m doing! Here’s what you can expect:
1. Acting Adventures: From audition stories to on-set shenanigans, I’ll be sharing the ups, downs, and everything in between of my acting journey. Expect behind-the-scenes peeks, industry insights, and maybe even some embarrassing bloopers (because if we can’t laugh at ourselves, what’s the point?). Over the past year, I’ve been working on doing more in entertainment, and I want you all to know about it.
2. Entrepreneurial Exploits: As I dive deeper into the world of business with Misfit Creative Media, I’ll be bringing you along for the ride. We’ll talk about the challenges of starting a business, the lessons learned, and the victories (both big and small) along the way. By now you guys have seen me chat through entrepreneurship for years; now, I just want to bring you along the ride for a new project that will hopefully touch countless other creatives.
3. Creator Chronicles: In this digital age, being a creator is an adventure. Even after all these years, I’m still not used to some things that require it. I’ll be sharing my experiences navigating social media, building a personal brand that now encompasses acting, and finding authentic ways to connect with all of you.
4. Bigger Conversations: I’ll continue discussing topics like self-confidence, mental health, and finding your path in a world that often wants to box you. You all know how important these topics are for us all.
5. Fashion & Beauty (Still!): Don’t worry, style enthusiasts! We’ll still talk fashion and beauty but with a fresh perspective. Think sustainable fashion choices, confidence-boosting beauty routines, and how to express your authentic self through your style.
Why the change?
As I’ve pursued my acting career and launched Misfit Creative Media, I’ve realized that there’s so much more I want to share with you all. The struggles of auditioning, the thrill of landing a role, the late nights working on business plans – these experiences have shaped me, and I believe they can inspire and help others, too.
I’ve always believed that being a “misfit” means embracing every facet of who you are. It’s about not fitting into one predefined category but creating your own unique path. This rebrand is me fully embracing that philosophy.
