How to Recreate The Makeup Straight From Victoria’s Secret’s Fashion Show

As many of you know, the Victoria Secret fashion show goes down everywhere. Understandably, I as a plus-size black woman with locs don’t tune in to the show mostly because I already know what the majority of the looks and the models will be. HOWEVER, I’m always here for a good and beautiful makeup look, and this year, sixty of the world’s top models — including Jasmine Tookes, Duckie Thot, Leomie Anderson, and Lais Ribeiro — wore natural, fresh glamorous looks down the runway.

The makeup this year was sponsored by Charlotte Tilbury, and the visionary herself wanted to ensure that every woman walked the runway feeling like a goddess. “The skin is all about enhanced goddess skin,” said Tilbury. “It’s natural and flawless at its best!” So let’s get into these looks, shall we?

An Angel’s Complexion

Charlotte prepped the Angel’s skin with her Magic Skincare Trio for a healthy, lit-from-within glowing angel complexion. According to Tilbury, she used her Instant Magic Dry Sheet Facial Mask for a glowing radiant looking complexion. Just so y’all know, this mask has it all: Vitamin B3, crocus bulb extract, peptides, oils and butters that penetrate deep in to the skin.

Now for the actual skin, Charlotte applied her glow primer, Wonderglow to the model’s skin. Again, I’m a stickler for ingredients and this baby has my favorite ingredient of them all: Hyaluronic Acid. The models then were buffed with the Light Wonder Foundation for a natural skin effect, and for places they may have needed a bit of extra coverage, the models were given the Magic Away Concealer to conceal any redness or blemishes, brighten darkness, smooth fine lines and hide the appearance of pores.

Eyes to Mesmerise Rose Gold

Are you truly an angel if you don’t shine like one? Uh, no. Each model got the Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette to sculpt the appearance of the face and carve out cheekbones and add warmth. I’m definitely adding this palette to my checkout cart because I’m always on the hunt for a good contour palette for those fall and winter days.

The eyes were tackled with the Exagger-Eyes Luxury Palette, finishing off with the Victoria’s Secret Major Lash to give a dreamy Angel flutter!

So what do you guys think? Is this a makeup look you’d recreate at home?
