Getting Ready For Fall Fashion With Animal Print

The other day I had the pleasure of speaking at LIM college on fashion and entrepreneurship in the digital landscape (you guys should just check it out over on my Instagram, because that’s where all the fun goes down). I had such an amazing time and the active engagement from the students (or just people in general) always reminds me WHY I do what I do! It can be challenging at times, of course, but I wake up everyday proud of the work I’m doing and how we get to do it.

ANYWAYS y’all, I’m ready for fall. I LOVE fall fashion, and the recent trends like bold eyeshadows or animal print! I’m all for zebra print (don’t worry, I have an entire lookbook coming your way on that!) but also cheetah print and I guess…a mixture of other animals. My shirt here is thrifted, but I found some cute options that I’ve added into my shopping cart, like this 3/4 sleeve cheetah dress or even this wrap dress I got from ASOS. I love them both!

I’m actually working on a style post of jeans I’ve tried as a curvy girl, and I absolutely love these Mott & Bow jeans. I won’t lie, they are pretty expensive, but I have these mom pairs also from ASOS that work just as great, and are just as comfortable for curvy girls. If you’re petite, these jeans fit wonderfully and are only $22, which you honestly can’t beat for real denim. And of course I’ve got an option for all my curvy girls — I LOVE these pants.

My shoes came from ZARA, but I’ve spent a lot of money lately buying new animal print that I have more than enough options for y’all. I did recently get a pair of leather shoes, which did hit my pockets but also my heart. It totally was worth it. If you’re into something that’s more of a heel and a bit more chill, then you can’t go wrong with snakeskin heels like these (which are also significantly less expensive). I recently bought this pair which I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEEEEE (and honestly, I recommend everyone and their momma to have) but even if you’ve only got a few bucks to spend, you can go for a pair of loafers (these were about $35).

On my lip, I’m wearing the new Nyma Tang x MAC Cosmetics red lip. I am in love and it’s honestly one of my new favorites. What do you guys think?
