I Recently Discovered This Handwritten Letter Writing Service and It’s A Gamechanger

Not living near my parents has its own set of challenges, but one of the easiest ways I bridge the travel gap is through handwritten cards.

Growing up, I would watch my mom sit down and write out cards to send to people during the holidays. She’d go to the store and stack up cards to quickly find a card for any occasion; birthdays, funerals, births, marriages, you name it. I enjoyed watching her take the time to develop thoughts and write them down for each person. On the other hand, I know she thoroughly basked in a glow whenever we would collect our mail from the mail man and it would feature a card from someone else.

Somewhere along the way, I feel like people stopped sending cards out. It’s…a lost art? Well, I always loved

While my mom loved the feeling of sending a special and unique card, I’m sure she didn’t like the long hours it took to put them together. Even today, I often find that the feeling is there but the time (and hand cramping) just doesn’t work for busy schedules.

So when I learned about Handwrytten, I had to check them out. It’s a handwritten letter writing service that converts text to handwritten cards! For about $3.75 a card, you can easily send handwritten cards to everyone in your life for any occasion. Oh, and did I mention that postage is involved? Yep, it’s not a situation of figuring out how the cards will get to their destination.

As a leader, I love writing and sending cards to employees and brands I’ve worked with. It’s so important to keep strong ties with the people who you build around your business, and a handwritten card goes a long way. In a world of emails, it’s easy to get caught up on quick moves and next steps. A handwritten note just feels more luxurious and unique.

I think the coolest part of the program is that it uses robots to write the cards, which honestly warrants the price in my opinion. They’re custom-designed handwriting robots that hold real pens when writing out the cards, and honestly, how cool is that? They also work pretty fast, saying that they aim to complete all orders within one business day. This is incredibly useful if you’re someone who waits till the last minute to do their cards (like me, I promise I’m not judging). Within 2-5 days, your person will receive their cards, and the rest is history!

Oh, and if you need to add a gift card to the order, you can also do that. They have brands like Starbucks, Amazon, Target, and others. There’s a ton more, but those were some of the brands that stood out to me. Gift cards do have an additional fee because of the convenience fee, but if you’re prepping cards for the holidays or whatever, it works out.

All in all, you don’t need to spend hours on hours preparing and trying to get cards ready to send out. Just pay a cool robot to do it for you and keep the authentic feel!
