Here’s How You Can Achieve Chloe and Halle’s NAACP Makeup Look

The NAACP Image Awards took place the other night, and while we loved the clothes that came down the red carpet, I have to admit…some of these beauty looks just served my entire life and paycheck.

My sisters in my head, Chloe and Halle, had beautiful makeup looks to compliment their outfits. I love how these two coordinate their looks, but also how separately they take up space in a crowded room. Of course I love these two because they are incredibly talented and have locs, but can we discuss these beauty looks?

I loved both ladies looks, but here’s a bit on how you can achieve Chloe’s look at home. Also, I’ve got a few alternatives just in case some of these are out of your price points.

Eyes

To achieve Chloe’s smokey-eye, makeup artist Christiana Cassell prepped the skin with Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask (which I absolutely swear by), then followed up with the Huda Beauty ‘Amethyst Obsessions Palette’ to create the color. The Jet Lag Mask is a leave-on mask, although I’m not the biggest fan of it because it feels super sticky (but it does do it’s due diligence). The ingredients that kick in are the sodium hyaluronate, chestnut-seed extract, and shea butter, as well as the vitamin C and E to brighten and fight free radicals.

Skin

For the skin, Cassell used the KohGenDo ‘aqua’ foundation (new product alert!) and Becca Cosmetics ‘Champagne Pop’ (another holy grail product). Of course, you guys know that I swear by all things Nars for the foundation, however if you’re trying to stay in a budget, you can also go for the Maybelline Fit Me foundation (which only goes for $8).

Lips

To finish off, Chloe rocked Mac’s Cork lip liner, aka, a staple product for brown girls, and then Dior’s ‘Ultra Lust’ lipstick. Fabulous!
