Finding Joy Even When The World Is Coming Down: Podcast Episode 2.2

Hey friends!

How have y’all been? Long time, no chat. I know, I know: I had promised to do better and yet here I am…not doing better. Sorry about that, but this week I started classes back up, was working on a lot of projects at the new job, and then working on projects here and there around the house. Honestly, once Instagram shadowbanned me I sort of checked out from EVERYTHING for a bit.

I guess it was my version of taking a break, but now it’s time to do what we do.

When I had recorded this episode, I believe it was only a few days after Condé Nast had announced layoffs. I felt a lot of feelings, none more than sheer anger that it feels like there’s nothing that can be done. Having layoffs at one company is bad enough, but across the industry where countless people are losing their jobs is hard.

Lately, I’ve struggled with trying to find ways to share amazing things that are happening with those that I love out of fear of being perceived as boastful or insensitive. However, sharing the good that happens in your life, even when the world feels weird, is about so much more than just you. You don’t know who can be blessed by what you have to say.

Also if you like what you hear, you might as well share the podcast with a friend, follow us on one of the platforms, and leave us a 5-star rating on Apple Podcasts 🙂

So, let’s get into it. If you’re on Apple Podcasts, you can listen to the show here. If you’re more of an Anchor/Spotify type person, check it out down below!
