How to Achieve My Easter Makeup Look On A Budget

Hey, y’all! I recently shared my makeup look for Easter and many of you wanted to know how I achieved it. One of the things I’ve challenged myself to do is find dupes and more affordable options to some of the makeup items that I use, but the good thing is almost every product that I use never steps over $40 (aside from skincare, but that’s a whole different story).

Anywho, just because we’re in the house doesn’t mean we have to be boring or not make ourselves feel pretty every once in a while. I was really happy with how this look turned out, but enough talking — let’s get down to business.

Alright, what’s the makeup look?

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation, $47

I’ve talked about this foundation so much, they should just cut me a check at this point! This has been my go-to foundation up until recently, and I love the color payoff I get for just a few pumps. Don’t be confused by its name, though: This is not a sheer foundation. You can absolutely build it up to a more full finish if that’s what you’re into.

If you’re on a budget, check out the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Matte Foundation which is only $11 or the Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer, which is only $9.

Nars Creamy Concealer, $30

Again, this is a product you guys have heard me talk about time after time, but that’s because I can’t get over the coverage! Not only is Nars one of the brands that I think creates really inclusive shades, but they are constantly innovating how to offer different textures. I love their creamy concealer, their concealers in pots, their foundations, all of it. The doe-foot applicator also makes it super helpful when trying to get into those spots under the eyes.

If you’re on a budget, don’t worry: I also love the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer which is only $8 and the Maybelline Fitme! Concealer which is only $5.39 (although I will note that it doesn’t have a good shade range so hopefully, you find what you’re looking for).

Milani Brow Pencil, $4.49

This is the product I’ve sworn by for the longest time for my brows. Honestly, I’ve tried so many other brow products and, although I love them, this is where I always come back. I love the consistency of the product and the waxy feel of the pencil, which allows me to make bold strokes BUT also not worry about too much product. Plus, the spooly works in my favor every time.

I would give y’all dupes, but this is the most affordable option on the market PLUS my favorite. If there were a list of holy grail products that I couldn’t live without, this would be on the list.
