You guys, it’s finally live! TheBlondeMisfit and I, Jamé Jackson, have made our TV debut!
So a few months back, my amazing Olay family reached out to do a satellite media tour, essentially where I talk about a few tips with a number of media outlets. SMTs (what they’re called for short) are great opportunities for exposure and to establish yourself as a credible authority.
I’ve been contemplating doing more TV work for a while. Of course, the pandemic and everything else to follow has slowed me down some. But the right opportunity came along and ya girl was out here on news stations and outlets!

I remember the night before being nervous, sweaty, feeling like I wasn’t going to be able to do it. A lot of people would never know but I’m extremely hard on myself. Luckily that morning I woke up feeling good, and my amazing producers supported me every step of the way.
Did I mess up? Absolutely. Thankfully nothing that was irredeemable, but honestly, I had prepared. I had practiced and I had remembered when in doubt, above all else, finish what you have to say. There were moments people skipped steps or just went off the cuff, and there were other times I had to completely pivot to ensure we had a smooth landing.
It was such a heightening experience that only solidifies I need to be on the big screen! Come 2022, I’m excited and expecting God to show up and show out. I would say in ways I can’t imagine, but I have a great imagination.
For the day, I wore my favorite color (red) in an Eloquii dress and these dark purple tassle earrings I’ve had for years. I kept my makeup minimal aside from my statement red lip.
